My goals for the games would be to use all the skills I've learned to give the best performance I can offer. I hope to improve not only as a fencer, but also as a teammate.
My best results would be during the Quebec Provincial Championships (1st place in foil and 2nd place in Epee) as well as the Commonwealth Games (3rd place for Team Canada Foil). I believe these were my best results as I was fencing strategically and with passion.
2022 Commonwealth Fencing Championships (London, UK) - Team Canada Foil : Bronze medal
2022 SHAD ambassador : Shad is an annual Canadian summer enrichment program for high-achieving high school students, and I got selected to attend this camp.
2022 Quebec Provincial Championships (Montreal, Quebec) : Foil (Gold), Epee (Silver)
I was originally introduced to the sport by my parents. Yet, out of all the other sports I tried, I never gave up on fencing. I had my ups and downs, but I have come to realize that this sport really allows me to feel free and be the real me.
